PDFUnlock provides a free, browser-based tool to remove password protection from PDF files. All processing is performed client-side in your browser. No files are uploaded to or stored on our servers.

Permitted Use

You may use PDFUnlock only for lawful purposes and only on PDF files that you own or have explicit authorisation to unlock.

You must NOT use this Service to:

• Unlock PDF files you do not own or do not have permission to access
• Circumvent copy protection or DRM on commercially licensed documents
• Engage in any activity that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or damage the Service

Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership of any files you process using the Service. We claim no rights over your PDF files or their contents. The PDFUnlock website, brand, and code are owned by PDFUnlock and may not be copied or reproduced without permission.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times, error-free, or that it will successfully unlock every PDF. Use the Service at your own risk.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PDFUnlock shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Advertising

The Service displays advertisements provided by Google AdSense and potentially other advertising networks. We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements.
